Barcelona set to offer seventy million Euro for Lautaro

Journalist Nicolo Schira of El Mundo Deportivo have mentioned that Barcelona have decided to replace Emerick Aubameyang with Lautaro Martinez as their first choice and are ready to offer €70m and two players,  Arturo Vidal and Nelson Semedo, to land the Inter's striker. Lautaro Martinez seems to be main target now as the talks of Aubameyang cools down. They have made Martinez their first-choice striking target making Aubameyang now only a second option, Barcelona have always admired the Arsenal star but they have decided to rather step-up their interest in Martinez, they are reportedly prepared to offer Inter €70m for Lautaro Martinez. Real Madrid would be a major rival for the bid with Martinez as they are also interested in the striker, making the interest between this two giants of Spain seem like a war. But, Nicolo Schira had confirmed that Barcelona lead the way in the race for the 22-year-old and would be a successor to Luis Suarez

In the midst of the panic and fear surrounding the spread of the dreaded coronavirus or COVID-19 as it is also known, bystanders were treated to a dose of comic relief at the Lagos State Government State House, Marina when the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrived for an emergency closed door meeting with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu. There was an initial awkward moment when the incumbent approached the former Governor for pleasantries, apparently going in for a courteous handshake, it appeared that both men suddenly remembered the existence of the coronavirus and quickly switched to the ‘elbow greeting’ while journalists, government officials, and party members burst into laughter.

President Buhari Keeps in Self isolation as he Shows Signs of coronavirus

President Buhari, who tested negative  to the corona virus, is now in self isolation. The President got tested after Abba Kyari, Buhari’s Chief of Staff, tested positive for the deadly virus. Activities have  been suspended at the preseidential Villa while all those, who came in contact with Kyari since his return into the country after a trip to Germany earlier this month, have been asked to self-isolate. Other people that came in contact with Kyari are Aliko Dangote, Governor Bello Masari of Katsina and Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, are among others that Kyari came in contact with after returning to Nigeria.

Kogi State Governor Tests positive of coronavirus

Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello Pearls News Nigeria has gathered that Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello and others have  tested positive for Coronavirus. This is after he came in contact with  Abba Kyari,  Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu, who had tested positive for Coronavirus. Aside Yahaya Bello, others like Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to President Buhari, Babagana Kingibe, a prominent member of the ‘cabal’ and others also came in contact with Abba Kyari but their Coronavirus status is yet to be revealed.
